Excellent and highly underrated album

The band lineup on this album, as well as the previous three is probably in my humble opinion, the best they ever had. They hit a wellspring of creativity that produced some of the Cure’s finest work.

What a great, driving and musical set of songs. Great through headphones while bike riding. Releases power!
My Introduction to The Cure

I remember going to New Orleans in 1992 and picking this album up. It truly changed my taste in music. This is one of those albums that as soon as you press play you can't stop till you listen to it entirely, then you play it again. It's a fluid album, and amazing. The Cure has so much depth in layers that you always get something every time you don't expect. This album is in my top 5 of all time.
Great album from start to finish

The cure makes great music, but this is the best album yet. It is a must buy for any fan of the cure.

This album is an amazing album that is quintessential to the best of the 90’s. It’s still as hauntingly beautiful as ever to me. Please put out a special edition. 🕯💋🎧

This is the album i keep playing again & again (including the B-sides, which rival any track on here). I love the Cure & the ever-evolving sound & style they’ve made over the decades but this & The Head On The Door are probably my favorites that i don’t ever seem to get tired of.

Thank you ART for introducing me to the most influential album of my high school years! Good & Bad times but I wouldn't change anything!
Great sound

This is the cure at the best. If you like the sound of killing an Arab this is the closest thing iTunes will allow.
Great album, but...

I'm giving it three stars because they didn't put the album version of A Letter to Elise (5:12) on it, just the single version (4:20). My criticism is of how iTunes handled it, not the album itself.

God this takes me back. Makes me glad to have been alive and young when I was. This album is so underrated.

I believe this album is much better then Disintegration. It expanded on the elements found on Kiss Me,Kiss Me,Kiss Me and Disintegration and made them even better. Check this album it's a work of art. If you only like this album for Friday I'm In Love I'll hurt you.
Wishing for the cures best

Was the title of my high school papers record review I wrote for this album when it was released. Is it actually the best? Possibly not however in my opinion it is up there with the best. When I listen to this album, which is one of those i can listen to from "open" to "end", it takes me back to another time in my life that is very dear to me. Many say that this was their last great album. I would have to disagree because blood flowers was almost equally as great however I do feel as though blood flowers was their last great album. I do still get whatever they release in hopes they can somehow bring back what has been lost for some time now. Their self titled album and 4:13 dream while both have good qualities, as a whole just do not do it for me and the only thing I liked about wild mood swings for the most part were the b sides. I definately recommend this album as a whole to any cure fan who for whatever reason does not have it. The one song that I never really cared for on here was Friday I'm in love however there is an excellent mix of that on the single as well as the connect the dots compilation.

Back in 1992 I was eagerly sitting outside of my local record ship waiting for the doors to open so I could be the first to pick up Wish. I love this album.

I bought this in 92 and loved it, and, now, in 2012, it's still remarkable and there's no way to explain why it is so good. I think because it is so different. And I don't know if I'm alone here but this is the best 'road trip' music ever!! 2 cups of coffee and 3 or 4 'mini-thins' (illegal now) and you can drive for 10 to 12 hours easily with this album on repeat....and it's complete bliss! Anyway, buy this one and you will see, 'edge of the deep green sea' is my favorite one and 'trust', but every song is good.
