This is a horrible remake. No capturing of the original melody or spirit of the song. "Updated" is not the word; it's just plained ruined. Updated would mean keeping the same melody and much of the same spirit; this is just a chaotic, melodic mess that bears no homage or resemblance to the original. Complete crap.

Sia is amazing. great voice great talent. She knows how to write good dance pop music. if you liked the original better and hated this one, you probably wouldn't like any of today's pop music either. I listened to the original and it was barely a song. don't like musicals. only wicked. Sia took the title of this song and created a masterpiece. Win that grammy sia!
