Til the Casket Drops

In no way is this album nearly as good as Hell Hath No Fury, but then again not many albums are so that's not necessarily a very bad thing. Clipse is one of the best rap duos out there right now, if not the best. Lyrics are on point like always. Beats solid. Personal favorites: Eyes on Me, I'm Good, Champion, & Popular Demand.

I honestly don't know why the bad reviews, I have all three albums and play them in rotation all the time. These brothers are different and their beats are hot. Been a "big" fan since Grindin'.

PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS ONLY ONCE AND SAY ITS NOT TRUE CLIPSE. NO ONE WILL EVER SOUND LIKE THEIR "OLD" OR FIRST MATERIAL. THE CLIPSE KEEP IT MODERN, ALWAYS FRESH. THEY CAN'T HELP BUT BE THE DOPEST RAP MEGA-GENIUSES OF THE UNIVERSE. im not the type to downlaod music i actually buy albums.from eminems relapse jay-zs bp3 kid cudi motm to 50 cents bisd but from al the releases in 2009 this i sby far my faveorite one!i can pick just one song to show you how good it is but the album as a whole is classic.i like hell hth no furrry alot but i like this one even more because its not what you expect.it shows they have diff styles there grown men and grow there not gonna be rapping about hustlin all the time now. the last song life change is a great way to end it being on how this album makes you think there life did change lol. key track that you should listen too prove its good= showing out,malice destroys its "common love her i wish i never met her they slutted he rout theres nothing left to treasure" champion the whole song is just fire and freedom is dope as well give those a listen and youll want more

I am a little baffled by the Clipse New Album? A few tracks are good #2, 4, and 9 but for the most part I could not enjoy this new sound?

This album was very good, almost as good as previous albums but Footsteps and that autotunedesque track stopped it short of greatness To the person that said the Artwork was bland and uninspired...do you know who did the Artwork? I bet you didn't, since you don't understand the work of KAWS when heavyhitters like KAWS are working on the clipse album, you know theyve got something Clipse are growin up lyrically, still thuggin it...and now theyve got modern graff artists on them too 4.8/5

Absolutely smoking album. Literally every song is excellent. And "Life Change" is a modern classic. The beat on "All Eyes On Me"...no way. The vibe on "Never Will it Stop"...no way. Bravo, Clipse.

With suprisingly catchy beats and their always quotable lyrics, there's little reason to take aim at Til the Casket Drops just because it is different from Clipse's other previous masterpieces. Honestly, isn't that why most people get hooked on Clipse in the first place: because they're impressively different from everything else in the world of hip hop today? After releasing two solid albums and what seems like a dozen mixtapes about selling cocaine and other less important nuggets of life, rappers Pusha T and Malice are at a point where their credibility in the rap game shouldn't even need to be mentioned. Jive overlooked them because of their inability to sound mainstream. Now that Clipse dropped the label and signed with Columbia Records, how did they get even with Jive? Simple: Make "Til the Casket Drops" the perfect balance between pop sounds, every-parent's-nightmare lyrics, and a hidden atmosphere that suggests a darkly avengeful, but mocking message from Pusha and Malice to the Jive label: "Are we pop oriented now?" "Til the Casket Drops" only solidifies their claim to mainstream music, without selling anything out. The voices of Pusha T and Malice never seem to bore me or annoy, and their "partnership" with the Neptunes couldn't be more beneficial to the solid music career they are sustaining so far. "Kinda Like A Big Deal" (Track 2) is one of those rare hip hop cuts that releases a jolt of addicting rhymes and production that doesn't annoy or overwhelm the dudes on the track. "All Eyes on Me" (Track 9) is almost a breath of fresh air due to Pusha and Malice rapping to a club-worthy sound... and enjoying it. "Life Change" (Track 13) is a standout track, and it's suprisingly personal coming from a rap duo that doesn't rest much on their own stories of emotions. Nonetheless, "Life Change" greatly concludes an album that may not be unanimously praised now, but over time should be heralded for the whole beauty of the album itself: its courage to step out of a comfort zone most cocaine rappers stay in, its answer to the haters that still insult their small mainstream appeal, and most importantly, its result as another terrific album from Virginia-based rappers trying to stand out in this crazy hip hop world.

Best clipse album I heard just did not like Camron on the one track but every else was done right.Whoever gives this a bad review does not know what they are talking about.

One of the best albums I've heard in a while.

Not worth buying. It's good if u like them. It's a mixed between Mainstream and soulful hiphop but not my favorite. Expected more from them.

I love Lord Willin and Hell Hath No Fury, but this is thier best cd to date, finally grown up and not talking about drug dealing so much, I'll listen to the old stuff but can't relate because i've never dealed or done drugs, so as far as lyrics, this is also thier best effort, so good!!! Champion is one of the best songs i've heard in awhile and the beat is crazy as hell!!! Great CD!!!

Real hip hop is back. "Til the casket drops" is better than the second album and almost as good as their first.
