Pretty good, but kind of strange lyrics. Giving a generous 4 out of 5

MGK really works here. Most of it is that you can tell that he’s really hurting in the song. I’ve heard other artists try to do sad rap ballads like this and end up sounding like whiny, insincere douches (the Kid Laroi, *CoughCough*). But here, it sounds totally sincere. The blending of the acoustic ballad sound with hip-hop is neat, like it still has a hip-hop beat to it, but it’s dialed back like 90% to fit the style. I hope Colson gets out of the depression he’s been in for the past 3 years. He’s got way too many haters. 9.5/10
