What else can I say, Nevermind is a masterpiece. I don’t care if nerds think it’s too mainstream or that Kurt thought it was “too polished”. Honestly he should’ve been proud of what he created. There are songs on here that’ll make anyone that doesn’t know anything about music go “I think I’ve heard this before”. That’s how good the album was. This album shaped and defined the 90s, without it, bands like Pearl Jam and Alice In Chains wouldn’t be as nearly as popular as they are if they’d hadn’t jumped on the “Grunge” bandwagon.

You are saying that this album is bad zeppelin could never reach this level of success, and popularity. And you said that Beatles suck well guess what Iron Maiden and Zeppelin could never reach there success zeppelin is overrated not they don’t even make good music and maiden is just pure noise so don’t lie to yourself

When the fight becomes cultural, over 30+ years after the lead singer’s tragic death, Smells Like Teen Spirit and the rest of grunge/alternative music are here to stay. I think Seattle San Francisco, and all other locations where 90’s music was popular have won the political battle against stigma against the mentally ill and SUD group. Good job. There can be permanent cultural approval of depressed guy music, having to do with approval or disapproval from parents, lamenting about the problems of youth that carry over into younger adulthood, and it does sound good. When you’re testing to see if parents know how to love their kids, it can be a permanent music genre like country or jazz. I think it’s really good music. Look, would you still love your kid if he got married and pregnant, only he couldn’t handle it and was still depressed and drug/alcohol addicted? When he literally dies in real life, it breaks our hearts, because of the absence of widespread unconditional love.

For those here in September 24 today is the day this peak album was released. No album could ever even come close to the level Nirvana was at. One of the greatest of all time.
