The song choices are not that great. Why not just relate The Whole Emancipation album and why not the black album. I guess I was looking for more songs like Satisfied, One Kiss at a Time, Bacon Skin, Boy George, Betcha By Golly WOW, When 2 R N Luv, and The One. But I am happy with I hate U and On the Couch. Come on Sheila E get it right.

Though most of these tracks have been released on CD in the past, these tracks are a nice mix representing various albums that the casual Prince fan may not be aware of but may enjoy just as much as the more widely known tracks. There are a few surprises from the NPGMusic Club releases. If you are a Prince fan but can only name songs from Purple Rain or Diamonds and Pearls, you need to buy this album, not just stream it!

I’m excited to see these songs finally available on iTunes. I’ve been considering buying Tevin Campbell’s version of Shh! for years, and satisfied myself listening to it on YouTube for awhile, so I’m thrilled to see it here.
While I think this is great and will have to wait a few paydays to get it, what I’m really hoping for is that all these whole albums will become available on iTunes. Planet Earth, NEWS, Crystal Ball, The Gold Experience, Chaos and Disorder... Just “release it!”
